Summary

Experienced office administrator required for our fantastic Hinckley based client, who specialise in the engineering field.

We are currently seeking experienced office administrators to help support our Hinckley based client, who are a leader in specialist engineering instillations, offering their quality service worldwide.

As an office administrator, your main role is to provide administrative support to year team, and the senior office administrator. You will work together to ensure the smooth running of the office day-to-day.

Daily tasks will include (but not limited to):

Filing and retrieving all manor of information and documents
Inputting all appropriate data timely and correctly
Drafting, typing and proof reading letters and quotes
Managing internal diaries
Arranging travel (booking flights, taxi's, applying for visa's etc).
Answering internal calls and offering excellent customer service
Taking appropriate messages and ensuring they reach the right person
Making outbound calls to clients, customers and ensuring any queries are resolved
Sales order processing and stock control (system used is Sage 1000)
Liaising with import/export companies and dealing with transport
Processing purchase orders, credit card transactions and invoices
Sending out literature (including mail shots).


We ask that all applicants meet the following criteria:

Have driving licence and own vehicle (due to the shift times, location and nature of the role)
Have at least two years of office admin experience
Have excellent Microsoft Office Skills (work, excel and outlook)
Have good touch typing skills (short hand would be ideal)
Be hard working, punctual and reliable attitude towards work
Work with real initiative and hold a desire to learn
Experience using SAGE is ideal but not essential, having experience with payroll and office systems is great.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break.

In return for your hard work, your starting salary will be £25,000 to £26,000 a year, dependant on your experience.
