We have an exciting opportunity to become a vital part of Derbyshire Mind's Senior Management Team as Finance Manager, providing effective financial leadership and management in line with our strategy and values.
Main Duties of the Job
The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the financial strategic direction of Derbyshire Mind, as well as the overall management, development and delivery of the Finance function.
They also act as Company Secretary and are the lead manager responsible for data protection and information governance. They manage all IT related contracts for Derbyshire Mind and lead the IT function, supported by the Senior Administrator.
Job Responsibilities
The key roles and responsibilities of the Finance Manager are:

Working alongside the Board and Chief Executive to set financial strategy
Providing financial information and insight to support Derbyshire Minds development
Maintaining all operational management systems and records relating to finance
Managing and supporting a Senior Administrator
Acting as Company Secretary
Leading the IT and information governance/data protection functions
Leading the implementation of payroll on a monthly basis
Leading the preparation of budgets, forecasts and monthly budget management reports, as well as the annual audit process
Attending Board meetings as required and being an active member of the Finance Sub-Committee
Creating service models, costings and budgets
