Summary
The Best Connection West Bromwich are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician for our client based In Wednesbury.
Pay rate: £12-£13 per hour depending on Experience.
Overtime available: Tx1/3 for first 4 hours of shift, Tx1/2 after 4 hours, and Double time on Sundays!
Hours of work:
Monday-Thursday: 06:30-15:00 with a 30-minute break.
Friday: 06:30-11:00
The Maintenance Electrician reports directly to the Works Engineer and responsibilities include: Preventative Planning: To ensure the future operation of equipment, maintenance workers must take necessary steps to prevent potential issues. Equipment Management: Manage the daily operations and functioning of equipment. Breakdowns: Repair failing equipment and update systems to ensure efficiency. Installation: When the company orders new electrical equipment, the task of fitting the equipment is a key function of the role. PPM: Will be required to do daily, weekly, and monthly Maintenance report sheets. Safety Regulations: Must guarantee that all property and machinery remain up to safety standards. Teamwork: Many tasks require more than one maintenance worker, so must work effectively and efficiently with others. Knowledge: It is expected that a multiplicity of problems can arise, as such, the engineer should demonstrate extensive knowledge in electrical equipment. Durability: Site demands that maintenance workers can endure harsh working environment. Support all continuous improvement activities within the business.
Candidate requirements: Must have 18th edition qualification. Good communication skills Able to work as part of a team or independently. Work off of own initiative. Good punctuality Comfortable with physically demanding work. Problem solving skills.
