Are you a qualified Refrigeration Engineer looking for a new exciting position where no two days are the same?

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to carry out a highly important role that involves conducting planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations. You will be responsible for technical repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within the agreed timeframe and ensure accurate completion of all required paperwork.
  • Responsively and positively handle service call requests from the Helpdesk, assess the job requirements, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Give priority to maintenance and repair tasks to meet agreed-upon response times and timeframes.
  • Abide by the designated protocols for ordering spare parts.
  • Promptly identify irreparable faults in plant and machinery, notifying the Line Manager promptly and providing recommendations for suitable replacements.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date compliance documentation at all times.
  • Undertake minor alterations and installations within your technical competence, adhering to current specifications.
  • Attend pertinent training courses to remain up-to-date with technical advancements and ensure continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration
  • Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum.
  • Quality of repairs and maintenance.
  • Able to work efficiently on your own or part of a team.
