Summary
Principal Resourcing are seeking to appoint a KS2 Teaching Assistant for a Year 3/4 class in one of our partnership primary schools in Selby. The primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to work part-time for the Summer term.
The school has recently been described by Ofsted as a caring, welcoming school where serving their community is at the heart of everything they do.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, dependant on experience.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification
Have successful experience in a primary school
Have experience with KS2 learners
Have experience in delivering specific interventions to support the needs of all pupils
Possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Have experience of supporting children with special educational needs and vulnerable pupils both emotionally and academically
Have high expectations of pupils achievement
Possess good communication skills
Be a team player with a positive outlook
Have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors
Provide support under the direction and supervision of teaching staff to assist pupils to access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities;
Have a sound knowledge of Safeguarding.
