Summary
A BIM Engineer is required on a contract basis for 6 months, working from home but with an occasion visit to site in London. The BIM Engineer will play a crucial role in a dynamic project encompassing three blocks of Heat Networks, which include apartments, commercial, and retail units. This position involves leveraging expert BIM modelling skills to contribute to the design and execution of complex infrastructure projects while maintaining high standards of precision and efficiency.
General overview of tasks will involve;
Develop and implement BIM models for large-scale construction projects.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure integration of all design aspects.
Utilise REVIT software for modelling tasks, ensuring all models are accurate and up to standard.
Assist in the coordination and planning of projects, ensuring optimal use of BIM technologies.
Provide technical support and insights during all project phases.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Experience & Skills Required
Proven experience in BIM modelling within the construction or engineering sectors.
Proficient with REVIT software; holding one's own licence is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of COBie data and its application in BIM projects.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Strong communication skills for occasional site visits and team interactions.
Ideally located within commuting distance to London for site visits.
