Summary
Taylor Blackwood Associates are recruiting a Steel Operative for our client near the Walsall area.
Candidates will have experience with the grinding, polishing, operating forklift, and experience working in the steel/ metal industry.
Duties include;
Steel banding/ bending
Using grinding hand tools
Banding up of processed steel
Operating overhead cranes advantageous/ FLT work
Choice of shift:
DAY SHIFT Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
NIGHT SHIFT Monday - Thursday
The total hours is 40 hours per week but there is overtime daily with a shift allowance
Rate of pay £12-15ph depending on day or night shift Initially this is Temp ongoing position, however after 13 weeks there is an opportunity to be taken on permanently by our client.
