Summary

We are looking for qualified and experienced Senior Social Worker as part of our Adult Social Care Team.

As a Senior Social Worker:

You must know and apply relevant laws like the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
You'll handle complex cases, including assessments, care management, and risk management.
You'll excel in tough situations, managing risks while encouraging independence.
You'll support and supervise colleagues or students.
You'll build strong professional relationships to achieve good outcomes for individuals and their families.

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Degree (or its equivalent).
Current registration with Social Work England
Evidence of successful completion of Skills for Care ASYE Programme or equivalent
ASYE Assessor (Internal Moderation Panel verified practice) and/or Practice Educator and/or Consolidation of Professional Practice (or equivalent) and/or Approved Mental Capacity Act Professional (AMCP) or Best Interest Assessor or equivalents, including evidence of active practice.
Knowledge and application of the Care Act 2014 and other relevant Health & Social Care legislation, Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF), Standards of Proficiency for Social Workers and specialist Capabilities Frameworks
Full Driving Licence including Category B.
