Summary
Deliver high quality PMVA Training; including team physical interventions skills, personal safety/breakaway skills and trust agreed Violence Reduction syllabus Please note- This makes up a minimum of 80% of the job role. Be an integral member of the Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) service fulfilling a range of duties and act as a positive proactive member of the PMVA team and wider security department Assist in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of the PMVA Training including Physical Interventions, Breakaway and Violence Reduction Syllabus. Assist in carrying out risk assessments and provide advice regarding violence and aggression management within LTHT Support in the promotion and adoption of the NHS England Violence Prevention and Reduction Standard. Provide additional resource to CSUs where the level of challenging behaviour and/or threat exceeds current training levels Provide post incidents support around instances of violence and abuse and offer advice and expertise to assist in preventing reoccurrence.
