Summary
Our client is a service-based company in Penrith offering quality products and service to the Agriculture, Forestry and Industrial markets. You will be operating as part of a small team and whilst you will have your own responsibilities as outlined in this job description you will need to be able to work flexibly to assist in other areas of the business when required.
General Qualities: Of smart appearance Polite Punctual Reliable Trustworthy Clean Endowed with a happy, smiling manner Commercially aware Willing to work as a team Able to work on own initiative IT literate (Data processing) Job Description: To work at the depot in Penrith to carry out maintenance and repairs of mechanical plant and machinery To visit customer sites to repair / maintain agricultural / forestry / industrial machinery Identify new customers and or services that would enhance and / or expand the business, bringing this to the attention of the MD Respond to provide fast, courteous customer service in the retail and workshop reception area. Identifying customers requirements and fulfilling that requirement from items in stock or arranging the appropriate purchase using company procedures to ensure suitability and profitability of products bought and sold. Take incoming sales calls and identify customers requirements and fulfilling those requirements from items in stock or arranging the appropriate purchase using company procedures to ensure suitability and profitability of products bought and sold. As part of an agreed Rota work flexible hours to maintain the companys operating hours, which might include some out of hours cover when agreed. A certain level of IT literacy to use the company systems - we use SAGE accounting and Microsoft Office Undertake training as necessary Respect & adhere to the companies Health & Safety policy at all times
