Location: Doncaster, UK
Salary: £55,000 per annum (negotiable) + car allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our major contracts team. As an integral part of our business, you will play a key role in managing project costs and profitability while maintaining client trust and building professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Take accurate and informative briefing notes from clients to facilitate robust pricing
Work collaboratively within the Quantity Surveying team to ensure interdepartmental synergy
Produce accurate Bills of Quantities/SoW's by taking off drawings
Procure subcontractors and suppliers, including detailed analysis
Prepare and update procurement tracker
Issue contracts and conduct regular site visits
Liaise and negotiate with external and internal stakeholders
Monitor, value, and capture variations in line with contract requirements
Produce valuations and accurate CVRs
Reconcile and approve invoicing
Work closely with intercompany departments throughout project process
Produce accurate and timely final accounts
Complete full project tenders when applicable
Required Skills and Experience:
Confident team player with aligned behaviors with company culture
Excellent attention to detail
Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveying experience in construction
Strong decision-making and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and IT systems
High-level numeracy skills
Approachable demeanor with effective time management
Ability to work to targeted KPIs
Full driving license
