Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our team within the Lancashire Care and South Cumbria Dental Service. You will be expected to efficiently assist with the daily running of dental treatment services for the Lancashire Care and South Cumbria Dental Service. This will include all aspects of booking appointments, dealing with telephone and counter enquiries from the public, other health care professionals and other dentists. You will undertake various clerical duties including providing clerical assistance to clinicians and senior staff and also waiting list management.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual, who has the ability to work within a team and also on one’s own initiative. You will have a good standard of education and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. You will mainly work at your base clinic; however you will also be required to work across the Lancashire Care and South Cumbria Dental Service, to efficiently assist with the daily running of Dental services. Experience is desired however not essential as full training will be given.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
