Summary
We are the ward for children and young people at Sherwood Forest Hospitals. Within the ward we have two high dependency beds and a Childrens Assessment Unit which opens every afternoon. We admit infants, children and young people with an age range of 0 to 18 years with a variety of medical and surgical needs.
We are looking for motivated Healthcare Support Workers to join our team to assist the Registered Nurses in the delivery of care to infants, children, young people, and their families. You must be able to communicate effectively with babies, children, families, and members of the Multi Disciplinary Team. You will have experience of caring in a hospital environment or have worked with children in another setting. We are a friendly ward and are committed to providing a high standard of care to our patients.

Shifts are 12 1/2 hours (with an hour break) and rotation between days/nights/weekends.
