Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper within Practice. This is a great opportunity working for a well-established group of Chartered Accountants based here in Bolton. Offering an attractive benefits package with an overseas company conference. Flexible to consider both full and part time hours working on site. Paying a salary range between £35K - £45k depending on experience.
What will you be doing as a Bookkeeper?
- Processing all financial data and transactions through Xero accountancy software
- Preparing VAT returns
- Tax calculations
- Processing payroll journals
- Reconciling accounts
- Preparation of invoices
- General Bookkeeping duties on your bank of clients
- Working towards year end accounts
- Fixed asset maintaining
- Training of new members of the team
- Working to deadlines and managing own workload

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- 3 - 5 years experience working in practice
- Experienced in using both Xero and DEXT accounting systems
- Experienced in using an automated system and digital files
- Excellent attention to detail
- Solution driven
- Confident and outgoing
- Solid career history
- Strong IT literacy (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Strong communicator
