Details:

I am looking for a Female Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance with healthcare and daily living tasks (including domestic chores and childcare). The primary healthcare role is the monitoring and supervision both during and post epileptic and non-epileptic seizures. Also, daily assistance with living with chronic fatigue and chronic pain.

A condition of the post is that you are open to various degrees of caring and have an understanding of how the employer wants the successful applicant to fulfil their duties to meet their individual needs as well as being sensitive to the family needs.

You will be required to deliver this support to a high standard under the direction of and in collaboration with the employer and their spouse. Full training will be provided.

Experience in some form of healthcare is preferred but not essential as training and a profile of care will be provided. Personality, a friendly nature, common sense and an ability to work flexibly on your own initiative within a lively family home are the qualities most needed. The applicant must be reliable and trustworthy.

Must like and be comfortable around animals. Good sense of humor is a must! The family home is a non-smoking environment. Applicant must hold a clean driving license and have their own car they are willing to use.

Hours per week:

8am-5.30pm Thursdays & Fridays with the possibility of some additional hours as and when required which may include evenings, weekends and overnights for respite care. Therefore flexibility with working hours is an essential criteria of this post.

Pay rates:

The rate of pay is £12.40.
