We are in collaboration with a school in Grimsby, actively seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide crucial support to a pupil with additional needs. This rewarding role centers on fostering a positive educational experience by addressing the emotional needs and academic progress of a pupil in the lower key stages.

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience: Previous experience in encouraging engagement in class work, facilitating academic progress, and managing challenging behaviors in children with SEN is crucial.

While experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting is preferred, we encourage applications from individuals with backgrounds in nursery nursing, support work, and health and social care. These diverse backgrounds often align well with the demands of this role.

This role will be paid through Teaching Personnel until July 2024. However, for the right candidate, there is an enticing opportunity to transition into a permanent contract following the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
