Summary
Role Overview:
Our client, a world leader in the design and manufacture of aviation & aerospace vehicles and technology are looking for a Facilities / Facilities Management support role to work on site at their Broughton facility in Flintshire, Wales
The role will primarily provide support in co-ordination of Facilities Management (FM) activities ranging from Maintenance to Strategic Construction projects, acting as a focal point and drum beating actions/ updates as required
Responsibilities:
• Oversee/ integrate several projects across site rather than just one project relating to Facilities
• Reporting into key senior stakeholders (role involves communicating with senior areas of the business)
• Work with Site Business Partners and Building custodians to define and lead the introduction
• of an effective Site/Building Process confirmation routine and action follow-up.
• Manage action recording and timely follow-up and updates to wider business areas on FM topics
• Act as the local voice of FM at Site level working groups where required
• Provide support to the Site FMRE BP to own reactive/unplanned issues that arise across site
• Provide support to the site FMRE BP and EHS Controller on EHS topics requiring action / improvement, acting as a co-ordinator where required.
Required professional experience:
• Candidate must have an understanding of facilities management, would suit a candidate from a similar industry35.03
• Communication and stakeholder management skills are essential
• Candidate would be working with a Project Manager, but they would need to be able to support them on project deliverables
• Project management, and project delivery is preferable
• Awareness of relevant HSE regulations would be hugely beneficial
