Summary
Mitie Telecoms are looking for a Air Con Engineer to join our expanding team.
What are the main duties for the Air Con Engineer?
As a Air Con Engineer you will be carrying out reactive & fault recification tasks as part of a climbing pair/team, but able to work alone if required. Responsibilities include both at height and ground level works within the Telecoms site umbrella, undertaking minor planned maintenance work as necessary, procuring materials and equipment to carry out works as necessary in line with contract guidelines, obtaining appropriate authorisation for access onto site as and when required.
You will complete risk assessments for work on site and complete on site reports and assessments for site defectsThe role can entail at times UK wide travel so you must be willing and able to work and stay away from home. Overtime weekend working may be required from time to time also which is remunerated accordingly. As part of a callout rota with additional remuneration also.

-To carry out duties in compliance with Mitie Technical Facilities Management Ltd Policies and Procedures.

-To perform tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard to meet both Client and Mitie expectation.
-Compliance with Health and Safety policy/legislati
Please note, all successful candidates, if not already qualified, will be put through training to reach an approved standard to work safely at height and/or on climbable structures.
Due the working at height requirement of the role, all employment is subject to passing a medical assessment that we will arrange in advance. Also a UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential as driving is 50% of the role.
