Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join FM Conway as a Transport Supervisor, within our dynamic and growing Aggregate and Asphalt division. This full-time permanent role will be based from our Heathrow depot. As our Transport Supervisor you will support the operations and management of our day drivers and HGV Fleet, ensuring safety and full utilisation at all times.

The duties of the Transport Supervisor role will include:

-Managing and supporting Drivers on any queries, annual leave requests, absences, and performance reviews

-Liaising with workshop and Planners regarding vehicle availability

-Holding investigations following accidents or incidents, with the ability to chair disciplinary hearings if needed

-Gaining a full understanding of site requirements and restrictions

-Having a full understanding of new and current transport systems and transport regulations

-Assisting in KPI reporting on vehicle and driver earnings, and maintaining records of asphalt fleet utilisation

-Assisting in the management of the Professional Drivers Recognition Scheme

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor who has proven experience in managing and leading a busy and large-scale transport fleet. You will have a strong understanding of EU driver and tachograph regulations and knowledge of UK driving legislation and traffic laws. It is important you have experience in managing a team and can handle ever-changing priorities in pressured situations.
