Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - The Compleat Food Group

Join us at The Compleat Food Group, a leading force in the chilled food industry, as our Head of Financial Planning & Analysis
(FP&A).

You will be at the forefront of our strategic central financial operations, driving growth, and ensuring financial excellence
across the business. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will spearhead our 3-Year plan process, lead our
comprehensive budgeting efforts, and ensure precise financial forecasting and reporting. This role is pivotal in blending
analytical prowess with strategic financial oversight to support our ambitious growth and innovation objectives.




Role to be based from either our Nottingham, Crewe, or Milton Keynes sites, with travel to our Nottingham site weekly with added
benefit of WFH flexibility.




Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Planning: Lead the 3-year plan process, developing long-term forecasts and conducting ad hoc scenario analysis to
guide strategic decisions.
* Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting process, coordinating assumptions, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure a streamlined
reporting process for our annual budget.
* Forecasting: Direct monthly forecasting activities, providing various levels of detail to accurately predict financial outcomes
and support business needs.
* Financial Reporting: Compile and issue comprehensive weekly reports, integrating site and commercial activities to provide
clear financial insights.
* Central Costs & Recharges: Guarantee the regular and accurate processing of central costs, such as payroll, and manage
recharges in alignment with agreements.
* Credit Management: Prepare quarterly information packs for credit insurers and agencies, enhancing our financial credibility
and stability.
* Investor & Acquisition Support: Play a crucial role in investor relations and acquisitions, offering expert advice on due
diligence, forecasting, modeling, and reporting.
* Leadership: Serve as a mentor and coach within the Finance department and the wider business, fostering a culture of excellence
and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven leadership skills with a talent for mentoring and development.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
* Ability to manage a demanding workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and balancing speed with accuracy.
* Qualified accountant with 2 years+ post-qualification experience.
