Summary


We require enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to play an important role dedicated to ensuring excellent standards of care to our patients on our Acute Medical ward. Working within a team of highly skilled and motivated staff where patient focus is our priority. We strive to make patient, family and carer experience as good as possible.

Salford Royal is looking for highly-motivated Health Care Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and innovative team striving to deliver the highest standards of care every day.

You will join our friendly and supportive acute medical and nursing team who are committed to providing and maintaining high standards of patient care, specializing in Acute Medicine nursing.

Ward L8 specialises in acute medical nursing. The Unit has 25 beds compromising of 3 teams overseen by a dedicated duty coordinator/Sister and a supervisory Ward Manager.

The job is both exciting and challenging, where team work is essential and initiative is paramount. Excellent communication, confidence and compassion are essential.

You will have experience of working in an acute hospital environment as well as a NVQ 3 in healthcare or equivalent.
