SSE IT is looking for a highly self-motivated individual to fill the role of Corporate Solutions Oracle HCM Compensation Specialist. The successful applicant will be working as part of the Corporate Solutions Delivery and Support Group within the Corporate Directorate. This is a challenging role, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and versatile individual. Reporting to the Corporate Solutions HR/Payroll Team Leader you will be mainly responsible for the day-to-day support and development of SSEs Corporate Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation module. With minimal support, you will be heavily involved in the timely resolution of any incidents and problems that occur and responsible for the design, development, system testing, UAT and rollout, of technical and functional enhancements.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role:

- With minimal assistance support our existing HCM Compensation implementation; responding to support calls raised, investigating root causes for errors and effectively managing Service Requests and Bugs with Oracle.

- Working to defined standards, provide support, estimation, design and development input into new developments to our core applications.

- Working with business stakeholders to understand the Oracle technology roadmap and assist with design on major new development or upgrade projects.

- Provide impact assessment, deployment and regression support of the Oracle updates and patches.

- To ensure that the various compensation cycles are fully supported, requirements are understood and that any changes are implemented as per SSE change release process.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Proven experience of implementation and supporting HCM Compensation module.

- Hands on experience of HCM configurations in relation to the learning modules. Excellent knowledge of implementing and supporting complex fast formulas.

- Strong knowledge of HCM integration patterns, best practice design and their ongoing support is important.

- Strong understanding of other Oracle HCM modules would be desirable but not essential. Oracle certifications in HCM Cloud are a plus.

- Possess a strong desire and ability for constant learning, coupled with a willingness to share knowledge with the wider team.
