We have a fantastic opportunity for a mixed vet role at an independent practice in the beautiful burgh of Blairgowrie. Surrounded by outstanding walking, cycling and horse-riding trails and within easy reach of larger towns and cities, this is a beautiful part of Scotland to live and work.
Our client is a small, independent mixed veterinary practice, established in the area over 100 years ago. They are a close-knit team made up of 5 vets, 2 RVN's, 1 SVN, 3 VCA's and 3 receptionists with a wide range of experience ranging from newly graduated to 30 years in practice.
The practice is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound and much more. There is a varied caseload involving all aspects of mixed practice work including emergency and critical care. The workload is split between small animal work and mainly beef cattle and sheep farming with some equine work.
The Rota:
• Full time - 4 day week
• Shifts: 9am - 5pm
• OOH rota: 1:4 weeknights and weekends
• When on call during the week, you will finish at 6pm and then if not needed on site then you can take calls from home
• Less experienced vets are fully supported with OOH
