Located in the picturesque market town of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, it offers easy access to nearby cities such as Sheffield and Nottingham, with an express train connecting you to Leeds in just half an hour.

The practice is equipped with cutting-edge equipment, including CT scanning, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Dental X-Ray, Orthopaedic care, and an In-House Laboratory, among other services. You will have the tools you need to deliver exceptional veterinary care to all patients.
As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a highly experienced team of 18 vets. Most of them have completed or are currently pursuing post-graduate certifications in surgery, imaging, medicine, ophthalmology, feline medicine, and dentistry. Together, they foster a dynamic, forward-thinking environment that prioritises outstanding patient care and client service.

Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with 5 years plus experience, who is either already in a senior role or looking to take on extra responsibility.
The Rota:
• Full time - 4 day week
• Same allocated day off each week
• 1:4 weekends
• No OOH
The Benefits:
• Competitive salary between £65,000 and £75,000
• Quarterly bonus scheme (typically £1500 - £3500 per quarter)
• Fully funded post grad certificates

• Funded CPD / certificate encouraged
• RCVS membership paid
• 25 days annual leave
• Apartment available if relocating and a £2000 relocation allowance
