Summary

We are looking for Young Person Support Workers to join the Prospero Health and Social Care team in Swindon. At Prospero Health and Social Care, a work-finding service, we provide cover to a range of Local Authorities to Residential Homes and 16 + Services accross the South West. We are looking for Support Worker who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about providing person centred care, and enjoy cooking, and arts and crafts, cooking and promoting independence in the Swindon and Wiltshire area.

Prospero Health and Social Care require at least 6 months experience in the health and social care sector. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location - Various locations across Swindon and Wiltshire (Consistant work at services available)
Position - Support Worker/Young Person Support Worker
Type of work - Support Worker - ad hoc bookings, potential to extend, Temp to Perm
Start date - ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration - ad hoc bookings, with the potential for extension depending on the client
Contract type - Temporary or Temp to Perm
Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on client needs
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP12.83 per hour on a PAYE basis Minimum rate of GBP14.30 per hour on a Umbrella basis
Hours - Shift work
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Care certificate
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care; NVQ 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent
At least 6 months working in UK Health and Social Care
Up to date Care training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child and adults barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional care related references that cover the last three years
