Summary

Required July 2024 - 35 hours per week - Monday – Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm - (the role may also involve some evening/weekend work) - Term Time only plus 5 INSET Days



We are seeking to appoint a Design Technology and Performing Arts Technician to assist with the smooth running of our School.



The successful candidate will support the Design department by organising and preparing materials ready for demonstrations and practical lessons, maintaining and organising tools and equipment and supporting both teachers and students in lessons as required, ensuring that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.



Experience in using associated equipment i.e specialist Design and Technology equipment such as CAD/CAM bandsaws, sanders, table saw, laser cutter, CNC routers etc would be advantageous.



Ideally you will have previous experience of providing lighting, sound and technical support for performances. However, you would be supported in learning this aspect of the role.
