HSE ADVISOR
Carbon60 are looking for a HSE Advisor to join a large facilities management, building services and process engineering company with excellent progression opportunities and a great culture of development.
ROLE: HSE Advisor
LOCATION: Head Office: Shrewsbury (SY2)
SALARY: between £45,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance
JOB TYPE: Permanent
THE ROLE:
- Monitoring SHE performance at Regional and Depot level.
- Reporting to Operational Management on good performance / best practice and deficiencies identified.
- Provision of key support with regards to development and implementation of improvement actions, initiatives, and plans.
- Assisting in the management of environmental responsibility in compliance.
- Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and sharing lessons learned.
- Reviewing RAMS, CPPs etc.
- Ensuring compliance with UK Health and Safety Legislation/ CDM Regulations / Client standards.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Hold a minimum NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of the application of HSE management principles and bet practice within an operational environment.
- Proven track record of engaging effectively with stakeholders in HSE matters.
- Experience of developing and improving processes, and driving HSE performance
- Ideally from a facilities management, building services and engineering background.
