Summary

We are looking to recruit a friendly, professional Nursing Associate to work under the supervision of a qualified nurse and assist in the implementation of patient care both direct and non direct.

The position will be based at Brockwell Medical Group. The successful candidate will be providing a high level of patient care to patients of NPC.

To work alongside nursing staff in the delivery of high quality direct and indirect patient care.

To provide assistance and support to patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary team.

To maintain high clinical standards.

To help maintain a clean and safe ward environment.

Northumbria Primary Care Ltd (NPC) is a pioneering partnership with local GPs and now manages several GP practices with around 50,000 registered patients in Northumberland and North Tyneside.

Whilst appointees will have a base practice within NPC, they may be asked to work at other practices across our group. We do however limit this as much as possible as we appreciate continuity is vital to effective primary care.

Please note that NPC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Make sure to read the ‘applicant guidance notes’ before submitting your application and make sure you know everything there is to know before applying to join our fantastic organisation.

To exercise accountability as set out in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

Work within NHCFT policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure high clinical standards.

To contribute to all nursing care, providing care for people including those with complex needs.

Working as a member of the nursing team under the direction of the Registered Nurse to provide and monitor care.

To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
