Summary
Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Skip Welder to join a leading integrated waste management business.
Our client provides collection, treatment, recycling and technologically-driven energy generation services to clients across the area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join an already very successful team, as a Skip Welder.
What's on offer?
- Full-time night shift opportunity
- 4-on 4-off; 6pm to 6am
- £13.55 per hour - paid weekly
Overtime? Possibly available during the week and on Saturdays - flexibility is desirable.
Working as a Skip Welder your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Following all site health and safety rules
- Safe and efficient operation of welding equipment
- Inspecting and fixing Skips and any other welding tasks as required
- Carrying out daily checks in accordance with company procedures and site working plan
- Co-operating with site management
- Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures as required
- Working to timescales and deadlines
Working as a Skip Welder you will be qualified and experienced in Mig Welding. Other key skills, traits and experience that would prove beneficial include a demonstrable period of plant operating experience:
- A good level of English
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Be punctual and reliable
- Flexibility and willingness to be involved in all aspects of the operation
