Summary
Events Manager, Manchester, £30-40k+
Working as part of an existing team, the successful Events Manager will be involved in working on a variety of client accounts and events.
Overview:
*Forge client relationships
*Discuss ideas around theming, set/stage design, signage etc with clients
*Present concepts for sign off
*Full event planning from concept through delivery (managing on-site preparations and event breakdown)
*Lead pre-event meetings and conduct post event debriefs
*Manage and control costs and budgeting
*Produce event plans and schedules so all involved is aware
*Keep clients updated and get consent of any additional costs
*Building and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and venues to ensure best rates
*Venue sourcing/selection
*Logistic planning
*Ensure all paperwork is completed
*Comply with insurance requirements
*Ensure H&S policies and procedures are enforced
Requirements:
*Proven Event Planning/Management background either working for an Event Agency/Production/Services Company or In-House.
*Troubleshooting skills
*Ability to work outside of conventional office hours when needed this may include evenings, weekends and bank holiday.
You must be UK based and live within a commutable distance of the where the position is located. Sponsorship is not available so you will need to have full leave to remain.
Our Events/Exhibitions Division: recruits on a national basis covering Agencies, Events Management/Production, Venues/Venue Finding, Conferencing, Exhibitions (Design/Build, Contractors), Stage/Show Builders and AV as well as companies from other sectors who have their own In-House Teams/Departments. We have filled positions from Junior through to Senior Management/Director Level.
