We are looking for a Senior Plumber to join our team to provide and oversee high quality, cost effective planned reactive maintenance and repair service to all plumbing system across the Prior’s Court Estate and surrounding owned properties.

Responsibilities

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include:-

To undertake the maintenance, servicing, and installation of all the PCF plumbing systems. Provide accurate related paperwork for all plumbing works including heating, water and specialist systems.
To plan tasks for any plumbing support (maintenance or external contractors), spot check completed tasks and provide training and support as required.
To be a point of contact for the maintenance, servicing and installation of all the Estates plumbing systems, liaising with the Estates chosen Commercial M&E Contractor and ensuring all works are undertaken within agreed time frames meeting SLA\Specification requirements.
Carry out all plumbing repairs and in-house plumbing projects to a high level and standard, conforming to the current Gas safe, Oftec and British standard Regulations.
Work to an agreed programme of rolling upgrades for domestic and commercial plant across the Estate, liaising with the Estates Manager, to ensure all condition reports are provided.
To assist the Facilities Managers in ensuring a 24/7 call out response programme is in place for all emergencies relating to plumbing and heating (using in-house or external contractor resource) as necessary

Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 90 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011.

Since opening, our support team has grown from around 20 to 500 and we have built a reputation as a leading edge educational, vocational, and residential facility for young people with autism. We are situated on 50 acres of parkland with various facilities including accommodation for our young people, a school with a wide range of facilities and offices.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or SVQ Level 3
Oftec Qualified
Plumbing qualification, such as City & Guilds
Valid driving licence
