Summary

About the Employer
I am the employer and father to my young daughter. My daughter has Autism and associated learning disability. She has limited verbal communication but is familiar with visual aids and PEc cards as way of communicating with others. My daughter requires 2-1 support at all times due to her vulnerability and risk of causing harm to herself or others, if she becomes frustrated, she is known to lash out or at times self harm. Due to this she has a safety helmet which she wears to minimise the risk of injury to herself. My daughter is a happy energetic child, with an abundance of energy, she loves most things associated to her age and enjoys the outdoors. She likes going to parks, swimming, theme parks and shopping, with the support of her PA's. We are seeking 2 PA's to work together providing my daughter social opportunities out in the community for 3 hours per week during school holidays only. She will require close supervision at all times due to her vulnerability and limited understanding of risk or danger to herself or others and will require support with personal care when out and about
