Future Prospects Group are delighted to be working with our client from within the construction industry who are actively looking for a Financial Director on a full-time, permanent basis to join their team.
As Financial Director you will responsible for overseeing financial operations, implementing strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
THE ROLE
Your responsibilities as a Financial Director will include:
Develop and execute financial Strategies and create plans to contribute to long term business success.
Prepare financial reports and analyse data to provide insight and recommendations to Senior Management.
Monitor financial compliance and review risk management insuring accounting standards are adhered to.
Review and assess investment decisions and explore financing options to support company growth.
Lead the finance team ensuring a collaborative approach while helping to develop and mentor team members.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Financial Director will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software and tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
