Summary

Job Overview
-Responsible for delivering the efficient and effective operational day to day Business Services performance, and standards as defined in the contractual agreement and service specification, whilst maximising service levels and financial performance through strong leadership and collaborative relationship management

-Accountable for company and site performance to ensure a best in class and flawless guest service

-Build strong collaborative relationships with Value Retail and stakeholders

-Working with the Strategic Account Director to build a centre of excellence for both Value Retail and Mitie

-Industry leader in operational delivery and efficiency

Main Duties

-To work with the Strategic Account Director to develop a long-term strategic Business Services account aligned to the Value Retail and Mitie objectives

-Accountable for leading the day-to-day Mitie operational services and team as requested / directed

-Management of the contractual agreement and key performance indicators within agreed specification and SOP's

-Overseeing and reporting of the daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic tasks undertaken by the frontline, supervisory and junior management team

-Management and accountability of financial reporting to required deadlines

-Develop third-party relationships in line with operational expectations

-Ensure services operate within all required governance requirements and delivers to the highest quality, health, and safety standards

-Involvement in and/or leading special projects, critical tasks, and improvement initiatives

-Scrutinise and develop data to continually improve services, performance, and deployment activities in conjunction with the CIP (continuous improvement plan)

-Work and communicate with other support functions both across Mitie and Value Retail as appropriate to ensure workflow is effective and delivers the right output in the right timescales

-Completion of monthly and ad-hoc audits and regular inspections, including rectifications, reporting, assignment of tasks and follow up actions

-Recruitment, selection, probation, induction, training, and development of employees to a high performing standard who are committed and engaged with the mission and vision

-Team performance reviews including 121's, Mid and end of year reviews, spotting talent, training needs, and developing the talent pipeline

-HR process reviews including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and appeals etc.

-Production and direction of team accurate rostering, work scheduling, payroll and associated tasks ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time and are paid and rewarded correctly in their roles

What we are looking for
-Experience and success in a senior facilities management role or similar service offering

-Ability to cover a variety of shifts across a 7-day week operation

-Ideally IOSH or equivalent

-A passion for excellent operational and guest experience with a drive to continually improve

-Experience of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel, word, and PowerPoint

-Experience in writing strategic, tactical reports and proposals

-Experience of a retail and/or Shopping Centre environment

-Reliable, flexible, and discreet, displaying integrity always

-Solid organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and achieve tight deadlines
