Summary

Job Overview
-Operational delivery of housekeeping services both internally and externally at Bicester Village

-Accountable for technical waste and sustainability management for the delivery of process improvement efficiencies for the operational day to day performance

-Management of the contractual agreement and service specification through strong leadership and collaborative relationship management

-To drive company and site performance to deliver best in class and flawless guest service

-Working with senior management to build a centre of operational excellence for both Value Retail and Mitie Supporting a cohesive team across Business Services, through to providing effective day to day management support



Main Duties

-Management of the day-to-day housekeeping and technical waste management services/schemes and team, as required

-Assist and / or lead the development, promotion, and implementation of new waste disposal schemes with an aim to meet Partner waste reduction and recycling targets

-Management of the contractual agreement and key performance indicators within agreed specification and SOP's

-Accountable for managing daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic tasks undertaken by the frontline and supervisory

-Produce management reports within given timelines

-Maintain third-party relationships in line with operational expectations

-Ensure services operate within all required governance requirements and delivers to the highest quality, health, and safety standards

-Involvement in special projects, critical tasks, and improvement initiatives

-Scrutinise and develop data to continually improve services, performance, and deployment activities in conjunction with the CIP (continuous improvement plan)

-Ensure compliance with current legislation in the transportation, handling, and disposal of waste

-Lead the development, promotion, and implementation of new housekeeping / cleaning schemes with an aim to meet client and guest experience targets

-Work and communicate with other support functions both within Mitie and Value Retail as appropriate to ensure workflow is effective and delivers the right output in the right timescales

-Completion of audits and regular inspections, including rectifications, reporting, assignment of tasks and follow up actions

-Recruitment, selection, probation, induction, training, and development of employees to a high performing standard who are committed and engaged with the mission and vision

-Team performance reviews including 121's, Mid and end of year reviews

-HR processes reviews including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance reviews etc.

-Production and direction of team accurate rostering, work scheduling, payroll and associated tasks ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time and are paid and rewarded correctly in their roles

What we are looking for
-Experience in housekeeping management service

-Previous training or experience in waste management preferred

-Ability to cover a variety of shifts across a 7-day week operation

-A passion for excellent operational and guest experience with a drive to continually improve

-Experience of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel, word, Outlook and PowerPoint

-Experience in writing standard operating procedures and processes and implementation within the operation

-Ability to build and maintain relationships with a strong teamwork ethic

-Excellent interpersonal skills

-Strong leadership and people management skills
