Job Title: Assistant Project Worker (Older Persons Service)

Location: Kirkcaldy office, LinkLiving

Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)

The Service:

Our Older Persons' Service combats loneliness and social isolation among seniors through volunteer befriending, social cafes, and the Help to Stay at Home service.

The Job:

Promote social inclusion for isolated seniors by offering 1:1 support in their homes. Regular contact significantly improves their lives emotionally and practically, aiding with transportation to health services, shopping trips, and social outings.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with project workers and volunteers.
- Support individuals to engage and integrate into their communities.
- Maintain accurate records using technology.
- Prioritize caseload efficiently.

Requirements:

- Good computer skills.
- Knowledge of issues affecting older people.
- Ability to work openly and honestly in a team.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a car.
