This role involves developing and executing dishes and food items according to the company's Modern Recipe standards, meeting performance, qualitative, and financial targets.Background and Key Challenges- Enforcing statutory, company, and site OH&S compliance.- Motivating, engaging, and leading kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.- Identifying opportunities for sales growth within the contract and external market.- Ensuring accurate financial documentation and accountancy.- Balancing creativity with operational efficiency within limited work and storage space.

Responsibilities:
- Leading the culinary team to deliver meals and catering requirements to KPI and Modern Recipe guidelines.
- Owning the culinary operations front and back of the house.
- Compliance with company accountancy documentation and administration procedures.
- Budget management, including control of costs such as labour, expenses, and purchases.
- Maintenance of stock levels, compliance with quality standards, and completion of routine audits.
- Compliance with all Health & Safety, hygiene, and cleanliness regulations.
- Maintenance of kitchen equipment and establishment security.
- Ensuring culinary standards meet SLAs specified in the contract.
- Participation in internal and client meetings.
- Recruitment, management, and training of kitchen staff.
- Conducting performance reviews and staff development.
- Positive representation of Sodexo through professional image and conduct.
- Timely completion of P&L reporting with performance exceeding company targets.
- Culinary service delivery meeting contract SLA standards.
- Compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Culinary service development and continuous improvement.
