Summary

Inventory Operations Co-ordinator
Based at Corby with travel required to local sites
Up to £35,000 per annum + car allowance + benefits
Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

As an Inventory Operations Co-ordinator you will work directly with the P&SCO Manager to support the planning and monitoring of the end-to-end journey of vehicles through the Retail Operations preparation process for cinch. The role will play a key part in the delivery of continuous improvement through the development of inventory and demand planning strategies and cross-function collaboration.

The role, sitting within the Central Operations function, has exposure in all areas of the Retail Operations preparation process and has the potential to add real value to operational efficiency. The position would suit a recent graduate and offers development opportunities and progression for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities


Develop and maintain planning models to maximise inventory efficiency through the preparation process.
Analyse historic data to identify trends and potential supply chain challenges to help inform decision-making.
Conduct regular reviews of inventory performance, focusing on identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
Co-ordinate with Heads of Operations and site General Managers to align on 13-week production plans to understand and align inbound requirements.
Communicate weekly inbound requirements with the vehicle purchasing team, and allocate vehicles selected between sites based on analysis of work-in-progress inventory and production forecasts.
Support the P&SCO Manager on supplier quality and performance audits, developing collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the supply chain.
Work closely with multiple departments across the business, including vehicle purchasing, production, procurement, despatch and post-sale, and central support.


Key Skills


Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient Microsoft Excel user, with evidence of strong analytical skills
Problem-solver with ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment
Customer-centric mind set with a desire to challenge and continually improve processes
Adaptive communication skills, able to engage a range of internal and external stakeholders
