Summary

ACTS provides intensive community assessment and evidence-based treatment interventions to young people aged 13-18 with serious mental health needs who reside in Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster who would otherwise be admitted to a psychiatric General Adolescent Unit. We are able to demonstrate that the work we do makes a difference - and we are a team that enjoys that we do.

ACTS works Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. The service has been developed to be the least restrictive option of the Tier 4 pathway.

While we cover a large area, the team has an office based at Monks Park Health Centre, HA9 6JE . There are multiple public transport links and free street parking.

We welcome applications from qualified candidates who have been under-represented in mental health posts in terms of the social GGRRAAACCEEESSS (Burnham). We strive to promote equality of opportunity by seeking to remove barriers, eliminating discrimination and ensuring equal opportunity for both our staff and service users.

The team is enthusiastic, creative, and highly-skilled. We are looking for someone who can contribute a range of skills and enrich our multi-disciplinary team discussions and team development. There is a positive team identity and an ethos built around reflective practice and staff wellbeing.
