Summary
ESSENTIAL
* You must be over the age of 21
* You must hold a full UK driving licence
* You must hold an enhanced DBS
* You must have a level 3 or 4 NVQ in children and young people in residential childcare, and experience working in the sector

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement care plans based on individual needs and goals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement and socialization
- Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- In the absence of the manager you would be responsible for admin and other functions at the home inc decision making ( all in accordance with manager and Ofsted expectations for the Home
- Supervision and guidance off staff
- Complete casework, plans. You will be involved directly in case conferences, reviews and planning meetings
- Write reports
- Build strong positive relationships with the children and encourage their involvement in reviews/ activities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using basic IT tools for documentation purposes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of childcare practices and safety guidelines

The rota is issued monthly and you will work approx 160hrs a month ( 40hrs a week )
Shifts vary from 10pm - 10am ( sleep ) and 11am - 11pm
We have temp/bank positions available as well as temp - perm
