Summary

Reporting to the Admissions Operations and Visa Relationships Manager, this newly developed role will support the University in its strategic aims to grow our international student base by ensuring that the University remains compliant with its obligations towards international visa sponsored students and against the requirements of the Home Office. The post holder will work closely with a wide range of Academic and Professional Services colleagues, ensuring that as well as being a point of contact for students.

The role requires a pro-active, highly organised individual who is educated to level 6, or with extensive professional experience in a similar role, and who is confident to work independently and with the highest level of accuracy. Applicants should have experience of using databases and have a commitment to delivering a high level of service to students and staff at all time. You will actively manage and oversee all aspects of visa and immigration compliance, including ensuring sound admissions practices, robust right to study checks and on course engagement monitoring, providing advice and guidance to students and staff on a range of issues. The ability to manage a demanding workload and the ability to work flexibly during times of peak workload is essential.
