Summary


The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Further information about our work and annual plan for delivering this is available on our website.
To provide dedicated administrative support to the Programme of work and undertake a variety of organisational functions. This will include diary management, review of papers for meetings, preparation of briefing packs, minute taking and management of action logs. Organisational support will be varied and will provide resilience to several functions, including raising purchase orders, travel and hotel bookings, events support, data analysis, preparation of high-level reports, supporting onboarding of programme staff and monitoring mandatory training completion.

Reporting to the Head of Enabling services the postholder will also work closely with the Board Secretary and the Corporate Communications team.
The postholder will be required to work autonomously and make judgements on priorities, with sufficient understanding of the scope of the whole organisation and workstreams of the programme to proactively produce information, effectively screen, resolve, or direct enquiries to the most appropriate persons and react to media and ministerial requests.

We have offices based in Coventry, Newcastle and London and offer flexible, hybrid, office and home-based working. In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate. Diary management and preparation of papers for the programme team

Preparation of narrative for slide decks for the programme team prior to submission for digital design.

Act as the first point of contact, receive and respond to a range of enquiries from external and internal stakeholders including government and senior civil servants, redirecting as necessary and appropriate.

Full secretariat support for a range of high-level virtual and face to face meetings across the programme and organisation. This will require management of sensitive and complex information.

To accompany the programme Team to a range of external and internal meetings and events, taking minutes and actions and following up the implementation of these, ensuring timely action and updating various parties as required.
