Based at our Stephenson Campus, Coalville



The SMB Group is a highly successful FE college, formed through the merger of Stephenson College and Brooksby Melton College. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the College for a Technical Workshop Supervisor/Assessor to join the Building Services team based in Coalville. Working in this role you will support the delivery of teaching and learning within the workshop environment, ensuring that resources, supplies, tools and equipment, are effectively and safely managed and maintained.

You may currently be working in a construction setting looking and looking to progress into a career in teaching. You will support a wide range of Construction students to develop and deliver their skills to ensure they are successful on their chosen programmes.

You will have an aptitude for accuracy, be able to maintain our superb workshop facilities and contribute to the continued improvement of the Construction programmes to achieve the best outcomes for students and stakeholders.

You will also be willing to obtain a relevant assessors qualification (A1 or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
