Summary

Car Park Host
Band 2

The post holder will be responsible for operating and monitoring the car parking facilities on the Tameside Hospital site and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the car parking facilities and systems.

The post holder will be required to enforce parking restrictions in line with the Trust’s Traffic Management Policy.

The post holder will be required to support and assist the Logistics service with transport bookings and/or transfers where appropriate.

• To act as first port of call for all staff, patient and visitor queries on the site, ensuring that the Trust's Traffic Management Policy is adhered to and enforced at all times.
• Issue parking warning notices for vehicles parked illegally and record non compliances on an electronic incident database.
• Communicate and enforce car parking regulations and offer guidance in an appropriate manner to staff, patients and visitors
• Attempt to resolve car parking disputes at source in a calm and professional manner, and if appropriate refer to the Security team.
• Input all car parking incidents accurately onto an incident database.
• Use the parking database to run reports on usage of car parks for any metrics, to support the efficient running of these areas.
