Summary

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: Hill House, Sandbach, Cheshire

Salary: Basic hourly rate - £19.94 per hour, up to £21.94 per hour with enhancement.

Hours: Full and part-time positions available - Day shifts between 07:30AM and 8:00PM with a 30-minute unpaid break. Shifts will be on a rota basis, covering all seven days of the week.

We are currently seeking skilled nurses who are passionate about person-centred care and have a strong understanding of safeguarding requirements.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support to our customers, as outlined in their Person-Centred Plans. Your duties will include ordering and administering medication, ensuring safe storage, and accurately recording all information in accordance with internal procedures and guidelines set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

In addition to providing exceptional care, you will also lead a team of support staff, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively. You will prioritise and delegate tasks as needed to ensure the needs of our customers are met in a safe, caring environment. You will also play a crucial role in conducting ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being, and ensuring that all records are maintained in a timely manner.

Additionally, you will provide physical care, assist with personal hygiene needs, and support customers with daily tasks. Requirements

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse
• A thorough understanding of nursing theory and best practises at a level 5 qualification
• Knowledge of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practise standards and guidelines
• Proficiency in basic registered nurse procedures
• Flexibility to work rostered hours and be on-call as required
