Summary
Jobstore are actively recruiting for a skilled and experienced Miller Turner to join our clients team in Bury.
As a Miller Turner, you will be responsible for fabricating and milling precision components using various tools and machinery. Your mechanical knowledge and ability to assemble parts will be essential in ensuring the production of high-quality products. Duties:
- Fabricate and mill components according to specifications
- Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, and other related equipment
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Weld components as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of milling techniques and tooling
- Proficient in operating various machinery, including lathes and milling machines
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble parts accurately
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their functions
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
