Based in Rochdale, our client is a precision engineering specialist Looking for a CNC Miller to join their team.

Job description

The role of CNC Miller Programmer, setter, operator will include the following duties:

⦁ Setting & Operating 4 Axis XYZ 1020 milling machines.
⦁ Run 2 Machines simultaneously.
⦁ Be able to program using Siemens controls.
⦁ Be able to use basic inspection equipment.

The ideal candidate will:

⦁ Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Milling machines using Siemens controls.
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.
