Summary
Mitie Telecoms are looking for a Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team based in the Aylesbury/Oxford area. What are the key role objectives? As a multi skilled Electrical Engineer, you will carry out duties in compliance with Mitie Technical Facilities Management Ltd Policies and Procedures. Driving & promoting Mitie's One Code which is integral to our companies values and behaviours. Whilst performing tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard to meet both Client and Mitie expectations, at all times working compliantly within Health and Safety policy/legislation. A UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential as driving is 50% of the role. What are the main duties for the Multi Skilled Engineer? To undertake routine Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks on Telecoms sites. To undertake minor reactive maintenance work as necessary. To be part of a callout rota with additional remuneration. Work includes both “At Height” checks and ground level maintenance of cabin and compound. Assist the site team in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to for the site. Willing and able to work and stay away from home. Overtime weekend working may be required from time to time. What does our ideal candidate look like? RF Awareness Certification, Advanced Climbing Certification, Rooftop Safety Awareness, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid at Height, Tower Rescue, NRSWA, First Aid at Work Certification, Ladder Safety, Fitness to Climb Medical Certificate, Latchways certification qualifications desirable, All climbing personnel must meet basic medical and fitness requirements. Experience, working within the mobile telecommunications industry. Please note, all successful candidates, if not already qualified, will be put through training to reach an approved standard to work safely at height and/or on climbable structures.
