Summary


This post will be offered as a full-time position, the post holder would be responsible for working as part of the international patients Team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Arabic speaker Administrator to support the International Team.

We aim to provide an exceptional service to international patients and service users by facilitating the patient pathway from an enquiry to a hospital stay in a seamless manner, including working closely with other departments/consultants & their support services to make this process as smooth as possible for the patient.

Royal Marsden has an international reputation for providing the highest quality of care to patients, and the Embassy Patients Coordinator’s main role is to be an office based Administrator, managing calls from patient, staff members and sponsors. To book appointments and answer queries.

To have good telephone manner and to be able to handle complaints and to make sure that all tasks are managed in a timely manner.
• The Private Care Directorate is seeking an enthusiastic Arabic speaking Administrator to support the International Centre Team.
The International Centre Administrator’s main role is to be an office based administrator, coordinating all calls from Hospital staff, patients, families, and Embassies.
• To provides a single point of enquiry and access to prospective patients and families seeking advice while treatment at the Royal Marsden HHS Foundation Trust.
• The post holder will be required to work as part of the International Centre Team responsible for answering patients’ queries and providing clear information.
• The post holder will be responsible for liaising with clinics regarding patients’ medical needs, and appointments made.
The post holder will work closely with the International Centre Team and be the first point of contact for all prospective Arabic patients; therefore, fluency in Arabic language is an essential skill to have. The role will also require attending to any administration duties for the International Centre Team.

• Provide support to new staff joining the Embassy Team
• Coordinating with Advocates/ Interpreters as & when any need arises to assist with patients’ queries/including inpatients related concerns.
• Coordinate with the LOG Team regarding appointments booked at a short notice, to cross check LOGs are in place-prior to notifying patients.
• Daily translations, i.e., taking patients/relatives different type of requests in Arabic, which are forwarded by email in most cases to the relevant RMH people in English.
• To coordinate requests for International Patient Relations Officer support and assign requests from other hospital departments to team members appropriately
