Summary
We have an opportunity available for a full time Facilities Assistant (Maintenance) to join our team!
You will work across our two residential care homes , Our Place based in Trafford/Sale M33 5AN and Syrian House based in Sale Manchester M33 5AL.

Responsibilities
Are you a jack of all trades with a love for keeping things in tip-top shape?
Here at Making Space, we need a Facilities Assistant to join our team! As the go-to person in our facilities maintenance team, you'll be responsible for general building maintenance and decorating, carrying out repairs, and reporting any damages.
But that's not all - you'll also be a safety superhero, performing health and safety, and environmental checks to keep our work in compliance with regulations.
And let's not forget the paperwork - you'll be completing reports and monitoring on-site contractors to ensure everyone's performing their best.

Qualifications
Previous maintenace expereince is essential, however our main priority for any new colleague is to find people who share similar values and attitudes to our own.
It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
